Brilliance.

Sunset

The view from my friend Emily's bedroom. we sat out on her roof and watched this bad boy go down. We get about one of these a week. I will miss them quite a lot. but i can take solace knowing that the pollution in Pittsburgh also gives great sunsets.

Frost/Nixon

Dearest... Everyone

So...
we're currently running out of things to tell you everyday because our work days become very monotonous. Not boring but it is the same thing seeing as we r rehearsing the same show over and over again. So video blogs may become a little less frequent. two things that happened to me yesterday which you may want to know about...
1) I watched 9 episodes of Blackadder... thats a season and a half. Rowan Atkinson is a god damn genius!

2) I received a death threat from a boy of about 10. He was playing raquetball i was walking by and he pointed at me and cut his own throat. no doubt one of our future politicians.

All the Best,
Ross

Chorus in Henry V

I just wanted to write a little something about how historical a part the "Chorus" is in Henry V. The way that Shakespeare actually asks the audience to make a pact of imagination with him is something we don't see very often anymore. The Chorus asks the audience to let their imaginations go. one of my favorite lines in the entire play is "O do but think/ you stand upon the ravage and behold/ a city so inconstant billows dancing;/ for so appears this fleet majestical,/ holding due course to Harfleur. Follow, follow:/Grapple your minds to sternage of this navy,/And leave your England, as dead midnight still." So incredible that there would people from all social classes being asked to use the one thing they have in common, their imagination.

Anyway,
that is all
